Acceptance of the Egoist is a short story to read before #3, Obsession of the Egoist is released. It's just a teaser to show more of Yugo and Kuon's relationship, and we get to see more of Yugo's business.Kuon is struggling with his feelings towards Yugo and with being with a man.It's a dark and twisted read, and you will understand why Kuon is struggling. Best of all, it's written in both POV, so we get to understand Yugo.

This is a brilliant extra book, an absolute must read one. But be careful as I feel that Nero Seal is playing games with us. I hated Yugo until yesterday when I finished reading this beautifuly written book. Acceptance of the Egoist is a great help to understand the dinamics of Yugo and Kuon love story, specially what happens on the last two chapters of book one. After this book Yugo becames much more human than the cruel sadist that he aparents to be. Maybe there is redemption for him, maybe not...I am pretty sure that he will never be a nice guy but he is in love and Kuon is definitely his weakness.Well, don’t expect a pretty love story, this a dark story but still a love story, and a very hot and additicted one. Start with book one and don’t forget that this book is more about Yugo than Kuon

Overall, this was a good addition to the original story. There was a good steamy part, along with Kuon getting into his own head some more. The only part I didn't care for was how much was written about Yugo's business. Sure, it's an important part to who the character is, but I got lost in it and really just wanted more Kuon and Yugo interaction.

Another great book by this author! I really love the emotional build up in this series, and I like that although the sex scenes are extremely hot and dark, love is always hiding beneath each touch.

I literally cant eait for the next book. Ive reread the first and now this one twice. Phenomenal. MOAR! please?

When I started reading this I was really interested in what I was going to find. I honestly didn’t think I would find as much as I did. My expectations were set low so I wouldn’t be disappointed but I was so happy with how this extra piece was ! I felt all of the warmth and love in this part and I’m so glad. I knew that Kuon and Yugo would get THERE.I also knew that Kuon would accept him eventually even though this started out and just kind of is in general a bad romance. The kind that has revenge, loving, betrayal, all the things to make a great bad romance/drugs involved movie. I can just hear Lady Gaga playing right now but at the same time there is passion, beauty and vulnerability with these two men.When reading this extra part you get to see more depth not just into their relationship but also into them alone as a character. Almost like we’re reading their souls. It’s moving and humbling, sad and almost feels like a hallmark or lifetime movie. Again with the movies.I guess it just seems to real with the beauty and the ugliness that you could see this happening. If you can see that and feel that, then you know youre reading something good.

Just a little tidbit to carry you over and keep you connected to Yugo and Kuon. Stockholm syndrome is a real thing and is truly being played out in Neros books. Kuon fights hard but is losing the game, in the end will it still be a game? Will Kuon lose himself or find someone unexpected in his place?We also see a little more of Yugos business which is interesting. Maybe some welcome intrigue here. Hopefully a little more will evolve in Love of The Eqoist part 2. To read it is to love it !! ….pat….

I don't like to give away plots so don't get specific but this was an amazing read and welcome little story to tide us over to book 2. You get to see a little bit more of Yugo's business and more of Kuon's struggle to accept his situation. This is not a stand alone you need to read Love of the Egoist 1st. I am going to re read that and then stop at the beginning of Chapter 16 and reread this book as that is where it goes in the story line. Can't wait for book 2
