This is a good, general dictionary. I'm in an upper division Macroeconomics course and in the week I've been using this dictionary, I have already identified shortcomings. For example, you can find at he definition for the substitution effect (SE) in this dictionary, but it does not distinguish between the SE of a higher real wage vs. SE of the real interest rate in saving. Though this is a good reference for general business and general economics, I will likely purchase an Economics only dictionary to ensure I have all the information I require for Econ coursework.

There is so much more materials that could be added to this Dictionaryof Business and Economic Terms. Why not? People want to purchaseso that these terms are at their fingertips.Also could use some examples with some of the terms.Not highly recommended.

Bought it for a finance law course. Didn't end up getting much use out of it personally, but possibly useful for someone with a different purpose if you prefer not to search for terms/explanations online.

Just like their work on finance it covers a lot more than what you might think and is less hefty now that it is digital. One thing I did was enable it on the back-end of one of my kindle fires as the primary dictionary which makes it great for research and reference versus say an english dictionary. Powerful and small, this is a hell of a price for a great deal of information in a format that makes sense. Glad to see this digital because now my backpack will be lighter too.

The dictionary is fine, but last 10% of the pages are not bound to the spine. Removing a star for shoddy workmanship. I am not returning it because I need it for a midterm in a couple days.

This book is a very good book. It is easy to read and understand. It is helping me in writing my summary for an accounting class I am taking and it is a handy reference guide to help me in other areas of my studies. I do recommend this book for anyone who is taking any accounting classes or business classes.

This is a great gift for new managers in just about any corporate structure! A truly useful reference to have that will openthe jargon up to allow better communication right away. Invest in someone by gifting it!
